Adoption Fees


HSWM is going cashless. Starting March 1, 2022 we will only accept debit or credit cards for adoptions. Thank you for your understanding.

Dogs
Puppies (under 6 months): $325 
Adult Dogs (6 months - 8 years): $195
Senior Dogs (8 years and up): Fee waived
Heartworm Positive Dogs: $345
​($195 fee+ $150 Heartworm preventive injectable)

Dogs that have had a dental procedure done will be an additional $100.



Whats Included (Dog)?​​
  • Spay/Neuter surgery
  • Age appropriate vaccinations
  • Heartworm test (if old enough)
  • 1 month of Heartworm prevention
  • 1 month of Flea/Tick prevention
  • Treatment for internal parasites
  • Microchip
  • Obedience Class- for puppies under 5 months
  • Residents of Kent County must purchase a dog license in additional to the adoption fee​
Cats

​​Kittens (under 6 months): $125
Adult Cats (6 months – 10 years): $50
Senior Cats (10 years and up): Fee waived

Cats that have had a dental procedure done will be an additional $100.
