Camp Caturday


This camp is all things cats!!! In these sessions we will focus on health, safety, adoptions, enrichment and more! See individual sessions for descriptions.
In all the Camp caturday sessions, campers will do crafts, activities, and spend time with shelter cats and kittens!
Ages: 5-12 years old
Cost; $10 per session
Capacity: 20 campers

October 28th 10-12pm; Black Cat Edition
In this session we will focus on black cats to celebrate Halloween! We will have a craft, discuss folklore and help promote the adoption of black cats!!!

November 25th 10-12pm; New Cat, Who Dis?
This session will provide campers with the knowledge to care for a new feline family member! How to change a litter box, feeding, grooming and acclimating to a new environment will be among the topics.

December 30th 10-12pm; Adoptions
In this session, we will discuss the adoption process and all that it enTAILS! Campers will promote adoptions, create marketing and meet our adoptable shelter cats!

January 27th 10-12pm; Keeping Cats Safe and Healthy
This session will focus on how to keep your feline family member from getting sick or injured, What vaccines cats need, how to prevent fleas and ticks, what plants and foods to avoid and more. ​

February 24th 10-12pm: All Things Enrichment
In this session we will learn the importance of enrichment and the different enrichment activities we have, for cats, at the shelter. Campers will make things that crinkle and jingle for shelter cats as well as their cats at home! We will also hang out with shelter cats and watch them play with their new toys!!
