Pup Club


This camp is all things dogs!!! In these sessions we will focus on health, safety, adoptions, enrichment, and more! See individual sessions for descriptions.
In all Pup Club sessions campers will do crafts, activities, and spend time with shelter dogs or our HSWM education dogs!

​​Ages: 5-12 years old
Cost: $10 per session
Capacity: 20 Campers

October 28th 12:30-2:30pm; Keeping Dogs Safe and Healthy 
Dogs get into everything! In this session we will discuss the foods and plants that are dangerous to dogs, what vaccines they need to prevent illness, and basic safety practices.

November 25th 12:30-2:30pm: Holiday Hounds
A special holiday session focussed on dogs and the holidays! We will discuss any dangers or anxieties your dog may face during the holidays and we will make holiday items for shelter dogs and for campers to take home to their own holiday hounds!

December 30th 12:30-2:30pm: Pup101
This session will take the camper through the commitment of adding a pup to the family. Discussions will include financial responsibilities, cleaning, medical upkeep and more. ​

January 27th 12:30-2:30pm: Adoptions
In this session, we will discuss the adoption process and all that it enTAILS! Campers will promote adoptions, create marketing and meet our adoptable shelter dogs!

February 24th 12:30-2:30pm: All Things Enrichment
In this session we will learn the importance of enrichment and the different enrichment activities we have, for dogs, at the shelter. Campers will make snuffle mats and stuff kongs for shelter dogs and make some fun toys to take home to their own dogs!
